We have never been fans of government control, but now any angry feelings we have towards the government have been firmly cemented! We are actually expecting a return on our taxes this year and I have been dilligently checking their website to see when we were supposed to have the $ deposited.
I checked a few weeks back and it said no later than April 15th.
I checked last week and it said no later than April 21st.
Then, I just checked and it said there would be a delay and to call. Well, it is late so I have to call in the morning, but I am so worked up over this ridiculousness that I am not able to sleep. (According to Audrey's monitor, she is not able to sleep either! She is crying right now!).
Anyhow, I am SO tired of having to fill out ridiculous amounts of paperwork for things...like Trevor's Contractor's License, the forms to sell my car, and TAXES...and then not having ANY accountability on their part.
I looked online and the error code is just a generic error code that they seem to give everyone.
SOOOO, I will be off to a tea party to try to stop this INSANE government spending that will come from taxes which I DESPISE right now.
Why can't everyone just pay a certain percentage?! Are there SO many of us out there who just like to feel stupid and not be able to fill out our tax returns ourselves. Do we like to feel like we have accomplished something when we actually get OUR money back? Do we feel good that anyone who actually makes any money has to pay for us to get more money than we paid in the first place????
I don't want my children paying for the decisions that are being made now and I hope that there are more people out there who don't think this is just "radical right" thinking! I think this is pretty logical!
Anyway, to calm myself down I am going to post some pictures of my beautiful children and enjoy their innocence in hopes that the American Citizens of today are not making horrible decisions for their futures!!! Yep, just look at them and think..."Why would we set them up for failure?" It feels like it is a sad day in America and I just hope there are intelligent people who are willing to stand up to this recklessness instead of trying to be the few who cash in on it.
Phew, okay...
