T-R-O-U-B-L-E

These kids are always up to something. Audrey is always following Raleigh around and imitating what he does, and the following pictures are from the few moments that I have tried to get something else done other than watching them...

Here they are hugging on the chair. All I could see was my work thrown all over the floor (yep, those papers are my work...sorry mom!), and a fall about to happen. Nobody fell, and I eventually got to enjoy them having a cute moment climbing all over each other on the chair. I am SO glad that they get along! At least when they are up to something they stick together!
And Audrey started with one dish so I could get my e-mails done, but Raleigh saw her and ran in to grab her more. I want everyone to know that THIS is why I only read my e-mails and hardly ever respond to them!

They are so funny! Audrey was showing me her pacifier and Raleigh was accessorizing!

FOIL HATS!!!

Our kids were super spoiled this day! They went to the park, had Crazy Dish Day, AND got to play in foil hats!

Here is the hat that Trevor made for Raleigh... And here is Audrey's...although it only stayed on for a whole 2 seconds!

Trevor even made himself one!

And this scary mask!

They crack me up!

I think Raleigh is ready for aliens!

These crazy people even got me in to it! And Trevor made Raleigh a dinosaur. I always wondered why our foil seemed to run out so fast. I think Trevor uses it when I am not looking!

Refrigerator Raiders

Uh oh! This is trouble!

Picnic!

We have been packing lots and lots of picnics since the weather has been nice, and here is Raleigh helping me pack one for the park. He is such a good helper! And since he didn't eat his lunch at the park (the sandbox was calling him), he decided to eat it as I scrubbed the sand off of him. I actually washed Audrey in the sink and then let him go in. He thought it was funny!!!

TULIPS!!!

I LOOOVVEEE when the tulips in our yard bloom! There are billions of them all over our front yard and they make me feel so happy when they bloom. We have daffodills and lilacs that bloom at the beginning of spring too that always look beautiful!

Raleigh went out to help me pull weeds but I forgot to tell him what weeds are. I ended up with this beautiful arrangement that makes me smile every time I see it though! Thanks little buddy! This was the easiest way to take my yearly tulip picture without sacfrficing a million tulips to Audrey's appetite and Raleigh's curiosity! It doesn't catch all of the colors we have, but I think it turned out cute anyway...even with the bike lane in the background!

Hiking

We went out on our first hike of the season. Raleigh was SO excited and he walked almost the whole way...which is a loooong way!

Raleigh tried to carry the baby backpack himself and this is what happened. Audrey looks a little concerned! Raleigh lead the way on the hike. It was hard to get him to stay on the path. He is quite the explorer now!

Audrey was mad that Trevor stopped for me to take their picture. She was enjoying the ride!

This is Raleigh's hiking squat!

Here is Audrey waving on her ride. She will wave at anything and anyone! BUT if someone comes up to talk to her she starts to freak out and cry unconsolably! I always feel bad when she does this to people!

Raleigh spent the whole hike looking for slugs and we finally found one at the end. It looked like a poo! :)

MEOW!

Raleigh was acting like a kitty, so we had to join in!

The Girls!

Our house has been separated by the phrase "Boys rule and Girls drool," but in these pictures you can clearly see that we DON'T drool...unless it is on our pillow! Also, Raleigh has been very aware of anatomy, so he always talks about "the boys" and "the girls" in our house. She must get her beautiful squinty eyes from me! :)

Daddy and Aud's!

Audrey is a Daddy's girl (well, she is a mommy's girl too, but she definitely loves her daddy)! She was even looking for him one day saying "Dada" and she started to cry!

Raleigh's Imagination!

Raleigh's imagination is getting bigger and bigger every day! I got some pictures of his Monster Truck Show that he had set up in his room...

This is the audience... And here is the whole set up complete with 2 ramps and a bunch of cars to squish. He drove EVERY ONE of his trucks through the course for his audience. He's so cute!

Bath Time!

Both of these kiddos love bath time!!! Audrey is a little crazy woman in the tub and she just runs and runs around! Now that she can stand on her own, she is a wild woman! Raleigh sometimes takes showers by himself, but he loves to play in the bath with his sister whenever he gets the chance!

My Loves!

It's pictures like this that remind me of how lucky I am!!!

ZZZZZZ!

Raleigh has been napping in our room since it is darker during the day and on this day, he just passed out! The cats love his naptime too!

Books!

Audrey loves books now. She will sit for a long time flipping through a book...especially if it has fuzzy animals in it that she can cuddle and kiss! Her interest started one day at Baby Storytime when we were reading a Peek-A-Boo book that made her crack up! This is her reading, and I was trying to get a picture of her curl in thee back of her hair. It is SO cute!!! It is getting long now though, so I wanted to document it so I would never forget!

Ipod!!!

Audrey found Raleigh's "Ipod" and she LOVES it!!! She loves music. She dances and sings to any kind of music she hears. She especially loves when Trevor plays guitar or Raleigh plays drums.

Which reminds me that I wanted to write down how musically inclined Raleigh is. He can hold a beat, count, and actually make music. He even got his harmonica, found the book of music that came with it and sat on his bed and learned how to hold it and how to "play" it (which was just him playing and saying it was right, but it was still cute). He is actually starting to get interested in stuff like that!

Easter Baskets!

The Easter Bunny left some pretty cool treats for the kids but we have all of it on video expect this blurry pic!

Egg Painting!

Raleigh's first attempt at coloring eggs by himself started off with a splash! Literally...look at the orange! Audrey enjoyed watching Raleigh at work while she got to eat snacks!
She really liked the Kung Fu Panda egg though. She LOVES bears now. Whenever she sees one she waves at it and tries to give it a kiss...even on TV!

This was her pink egg that I made for her, but I don't think she really cared!

So, I handed over the pink egg and let the artist make it look better!

He even did double dipping!!!!

Look at these beautiful works of art!

Easter Bunny @ the Aviation Museum

We went to the Evergreen Aviation Museum for their Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny visit via helicopter again this year. The kids LOVED it and Raleigh has been begging to visit the museum again!

Here is Audrey sporting the new look in Easter Bonnets! Raleigh was so excited he was SHAKING! He didn't even do the arts and crafts they had set up because he was SO excited!
Here is my attempt to get them in a picture together before the egg hunt. I should have realized that it would be impossible to get their attention with millions of bright shiny Easter Eggs right next to them!

And they're off...or at least Raleigh was!

Audrey found this one...which was almost stolen by a little kid whose mom was encouraging him to take it from her...but I put him in his place! She was happy to have one to hold on too!
Check out all the ones Raleigh found. He did it ALL BY HIMSELF! Trevor could barely keep up chasing after him!

Audrey checking out her Brother's spoils!

I'm glad I married a man with big muscles!!! Who knew they would be carrying two of the cutest kids in the world?! Raleigh was so excited to see in all of the planes. He had us running from plane to plane so he could check them out! I wondered if he still liked them...and I guess he does! He has even started searching the sky for airplanes again!

Here comes the Bunny!!!! When the bunny came out of the helicopter Raleigh freaked and just stood back quietly looking. Then, Trevor took him up to the bunny and the bunny touched Raleigh's nose. Now that is all that little guy talks about!
