Christmas '07
Well, we had a WONDERFUL Christmas! Raleigh got TONS of toys, and we got tons of fun and useful gifts!!! Our tree was overflowing! Raleigh woke up Christmas morning (after almost not falling asleep Christmas night) and climbed in our bed as usual. He was cuddling me, so I asked him if he wanted to go see if Santa had come. After a drowsy yes, I asked him if he wanted to open presents, and he jumped up and yelled "YEP!" So, we woke up Trevor and headed down the stairs. Santa had left candy canes all down the stairs though, so Raleigh excitedly picked each one up and yelled "Santa, Candy Cane!" When we got downstairs, Raleigh ran straight to the tree and started ripping open presents. I had to run to get the video camera going! As Trevor and I organized ourselves, Raleigh plowed through the presents asking us to take them out of the boxes after he opened each one. We were a little overwhelmed, so we finally told him that we would do it after he unwrapped everything. Phew!
After a couple of hours of opening boxes and putting toys together, Trevor made a yummy breakfast (which we had to bribe Raleigh with a candy cane to get him to come to the table). After breakfast Raleigh played and played, and the snow started to fall. So, we went out and played in the snow, had lunch, and took a nap. Raleigh was SO excited for all of his toys that he kept carrying them to wherever Trigger and Cleo were to show them how each one worked! So, thank you everyone and know that we love ALL of you and are so lucky to have you in our lives! We hope your Chirstmas was as Merry as ours was!!!!
Another note...
A cute Raleigh story...
Raleigh had come in one morning and climbed in bed with us. He started rubbing my tummy and said "Baby Girl Baby Girl." (He had been saying Baby Boy before). Then after a while, he pulled up his shirt and said "Raleigh's Tummy, Hot Dog!" We were laughing SO hard! So, we asked him, "What's in Daddy's Tummy," and after some deep thought, Raleigh said, "Sandwich!"

White Christmas!!!

We got our wishes and had a White Christmas this year! We were all pretty excited!!! Here I am starting a snowball off of dad's workhorses!

Daddy wanted to make sure to get some pics of mommy on, so here is one!

Oh wait, there's more to this I think!

Daddy's just throwing a snowball at her!!!

Score!!!!

Here I am throwing snowballs at daddy.

Yes, I hit him!!!!!

Hmmm, what should I do now?

Mommy, you're blocking one of daddy's nature pictures!

This has to be my biggest smile EVER!!!!
And no, that's not a boogie hanging out, its a snowflake!

Another snowball! Watch out!!!

I also learned how to put my hands in my pockets!

Hey Dad, where are you going???

He looks like he's up to something!

Yep, just standing with my hands in my pockets!

Daddy nailed the fort with snowballs! It was funny!

My snowball didn't quite make it to the fort, but at least I tried!
Rescue 911

All of the pictures of me opening presents are on the video camera, but after mommy and daddy got everything open, put together, and somewhat cleaned up, they had time to take pictures of me cruising in my sweet fire truck that I got from Papa Dave and Grandma April!

Watch out, rescue in progress!

Sure, I can stop for a photo! How else will I be remembered as a hero?

After all of that, it was time to take a break and have a candy cane snack (that was my third one since I woke up...I found the stash in the stocking and quickly learned how to open them!)!
'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

And all through the house, not a creature was stirring...except for the two noisy cats who thought the presents were their new playground!

This year we had SO many stockings that we didn't have enough hooks, so mommy and daddy had to share, and all the animals had to share. Me and the baby to be got our own spots!
Also, we put our cookies and milk out for Santa, but this picture doesn't show it very well! Which is good, because I might notice that the milk was gone and the cookies were eaten even before Santa came!!!

Great Grandad and Great Grandma's
We made a visit to Great Grandad and Great Grandma's house (or Great Dad and Great Mama as I call them). We had a yummy dinner, dessert, and I got to play and be the center of attention (those are all of my favorite things)!

Aren't they cute?!?!

This is when I got a hold of the camera and started snapping away!

I taught Great Dad how to fly planes too!

I also snuck into the kitchen with Grandma!

Then when I got tired, I settled comfortable into Grandma's arms!
