Heidi is 4 months old, and we had a whopper of a doctor's visit! Heidi did great...until Audrey started melting down. We have had a cold/flu kind of thing going on for about a week now and it has knocked everyone for a loop. Audrey made it about halfway through the doctor's visit when Raleigh stole her chair and then she lost it. She bit his shoe (because she knew she couldn't bite him), and I had to put her in timeout. She SCREAMED! Towards the end of her timeout, Dr Smart came in and I told her that Auds was in timeout (luckily we are good friends so I actually was not embarassed by their actions). I let Audrey out of timeout and we started to checkout Heidi. Audrey got jealous and wanted me to hold her and her whines escalated into cries which in turn made Heidi cry. So, Dr. Smart and I decided that since Audrey was already mad that we would give the kids flu shots. Audrey was screaming by the time the nurse came in with the shots, which bothered the nurse more than me. I could have cared less! We set Heidi in her car seat and I held her with one hand and I wrangled Audrey with the other. She screamed and then kicked as the nurse tried to get the Band-Aid on. After the shot, I set her down and she slowly calmed down while we got Heidi hers and Raleigh his.
Raleigh was way excited to get a shot. It seems strange, but I think he looks forward to showing off how easy it is. He sat by himself, rolled up his sleeve, watched the nurse give him the shot without even flinching, and then anxiously awaited the Band-Aid. At first, since Raleigh wasn't scared, the nurse wanted to make sure he knew what she was doing. She told him, "I am going to give you a shot and you might feel a poke." He said, "I know." What a stud!
As for Heidi, she is 75th percentile for Height and Weight and 50th percentile for head size. She is growing right along the curve. She has chronic congestion which doesn't mean much, except that we just have to wait for her to outgrow it. She is now eating rice cereal like a champ and is always trying to get at our food. Gotta go, she's crying!

So Much in So Little Time
We have had SO much going on the last couple months that I have barely had time to even comprehend it! Here is a condensed list...
-Bryson came out to help Trevor work and ended up keeping the kids entertained beyond my wildest dreams! He celebrated 4th of July with us and we celebrated his Birthday (a day early).
-Trevor and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary!
-My friends Niloo and Sarah came over to spoil me and give me the best Birthday ever!!!
-Trevor's mom came for a week visit and spoiled the kids. Trevor had time off so we were able to do TONS of fun things and get extra bonding time with her.
-We took a 2 week visit down to California so we could visit, Trevor could work, and we ended it off with Bryson and Shannon's wedding.
I know I am leaving some things out, but everyone in the house have been sick and I still have unpacked things from our trip, so my brain is not fully functioning!
