Washin' the car
While the boys did the "manly" work of washing the car, the girls played in the lawn. Audrey found some rocks and was making some music. Speaking of "manly" work, Raleigh is quite the male chauvenist now. Every day we go over how girls can do the same things boys can, the only difference is that boys have a weenie. For some reason that keeps translating in his mind as girls are lesser humans.

IT HAS BEEN A LOOOONNNGGG TIME!
WOW, I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted!!! I guess we have just been so busy that time is FLYING by!!!
Audrey will be 1 in 3 days! I can't believe it! She is officially walking now! She looks like Frankenstein, but she gets all around on twos now! Raleigh hates it! He can't get away from her fast enough now! She can reach all of the cabinets and drawers now and pinches her fingers about 5 times a day! And her scream just seems to get louder and louder.
The kids are SO cute now though. Raleigh LOVES his T-ball and he loves the kids on his team! He has so much fun with them and talks about his games all week! We have snack this weekend, so we are extra excited! Audrey loves taking walks in the stroller, climbing on everything, and snacks! She gets SO excited when she sees a dog!
We have Audrey's Birthday Party coming up and we are all getting pretty excited! I have had so much fun planning it! I felt like a little kid when I went to hand out her invitations, but so far all of the kids we invited are coming! YAY!! Raleigh has gone through about every emotion on this. He has been excited, mad, jealous, and happy. This is the first time he has experienced anything like this. There is NOTHING that is about him! But, I have had him making the goody bags and crafty stuff with me to make him feel involved. He is starting to calm down about it, but he was definitely acting out for a while! And he keeps talking about his birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese's. Since he has no real sense of time, it has been tough telling him how long it will be until his Birthday!
Raleigh is becoming super responsible now. He helps us out with everything! He cleans up his dishes, feeds Audrey (when I let him), helps Trevor with washing the car, gardening, etc., and helps us take out the trashes. His favorite color is red and his favorite superheroes are Batman and Wolverine, and sometimes Superman. He acts like them ALL the time. I am getting tired of playing Superhero, but he loves it.
Audrey has turned in to a TOTAL girl. She cuddles any stuffed animal she can find and covers them with kisses. She will spend lengthy periods of quiet time reading books. She has to have a soft blanket to cuddle to sleep. She squeals and screams when she is laughing. She FREAKS out if she falls on her butt. She likes to throw her food and "clean" her high chair table while I am cleaning the big table. She crawls up to us all the time and hugs and kisses us. She gets jealous if anyone is giving me attention and tries to crawl in between us. She is pretty easy, but she has been sick the past couple of days which has left us ALL miserable! She takes 2 naps, eats everything and sleeps through the night half the week and wakes up once at 5am the other half.
Trevor has been working a lot (thank goodness), and his hours have been better. He is starting a really big project which will be really good for us. I think our lives are starting to get back on track and everyone seems to be a bit more relaxed. We can't wait for all of our visitors and we are counting down the days!
This year has FLOWN by, and even though the pain of labor is now washed from my mind, it seems like she was just a little bundle. Now she is pointing at things and demanding them, walking around getting in to everything, and starting to play with her big bro! I am so proud of who our family has become! We have made it through some pretty tough and stressful times. I hope to never experience those things again, but I know they have drawn us closer together! Okay, yay for us! :)

T-Ball!!!!
Our little guy has started T-ball and he LOVES it!!! He walks around ALL day with his baseball glove on. We had to pack it on our trip down to CA too. Oh, and Trevor and the kids took me to Moe's Burritos (YUMMMMM) for Mother's Day and Raleigh HAD to wear it in to the restaurant. I tried to talk him out of it, but he was adamant! He is so cute!!! He has his first game on Saturday, so we will see how that goes! It is SO cute watching all of the kids. They crack me up! Notice all of the parents on the field, haha. T-ball is the only sport that the parents can come on the field and not get kicked out!
Oh, and Raleigh's team is the Orioles! GOOOO Orioles!!!
