Playing Outside

When the sun is out...Daddy and I are outside playing. Mommy thinks I am hilarious outside because I talk non-stop while I am running around the yard and the deck. I can climb up the slide backwards, and I have conquered our fort (which I shook and told mom, "Daddy need fix house because shakes"). I love being outside, and I know this is going to be a GREAT summer!!!

My Act of Defiance

This is a picture of my act of peaceful defiance. I wanted to go outside, but mommy and daddy told me I had to have my shoes and socks on. So, I got my socks and shoes, sat down, but when daddy came over to put them on I started saying "Or Mommy" which is a common thing I say these days. Well, mommy can't bend over very well, so she told me that daddy had to do it. I still fussed, so I was told I couldn't go outside until I gave in. I have my mommy's genes, which makes me very stubborn. At first, I just laid there saying "Or mommy" over and over while I played with the farm book. Then, when no one paid attention, I laid flat on my back and silently put the sock over my eyes. When mommy and daddy noticed I got quiet, they came out and found me like this! I gave them a good laugh, but they still did not give in. Eventually I couldn't stand not being outside and I gave in and let daddy get my socks and shoes on, but I think I made my point!

The Mind of an almost 2 1/2 year old!

So, now that I am almost 2 1/2, I have made some major personality changes. I am a bit bossy, I have more tantrums, and I have to do everything myself. I also think I am always right! BUT, on the other hand, mommy and daddy say that I am a ton of fun to be around because I always make them laugh (I am a little bit of a class clown sometimes), I have a huge imagination, and I LOVE giving kisses and hugs, especially to Audrey.

In this picture, I had opened every single drawer and cupboard, but by the time mommy got the camera I had hidden the evidence and was just digging through one cupboard.









I have also given up naps! So to try to bribe me into taking a nap, mommy bought me a donut (which I call a bagel) and told me that I could have it when I woke up from a nap. Well, after 2 hours of being climbed on in bed, mommy gave up on the nap...but not on the donut! She told me I had to wait until the next morning!!!! Soooo, I went out into the garage where daddy was working (I knew he wouldn't be paying attention to what I was saying), asked him if I could have the donut now, and when he ran in I told mommy that daddy said yes to the donut now. Mommy wasn't amused, went out and told dad, and they both ended up laughing about it. Anyway, this is the next morning...but before I went down to eat my donut, I had to put this hat on. That's part of my creativity now!








And this is me "cheesing up" the camera!


















Then, after I ate only the frosted part of the donut, I went out to turn the robot on and made daddy take a picture!










I also had a nice cuddle with Gwyn. I always say, "Gwyn loves me. She gives me kisses." And she DOES give me LOTS of kisses...especially after I eat pudding!

I saw the camera sitting on the counter and asked daddy to take some pictures of me. After that, mommy grabbed the camera and got some cute pictures of me with Gwyn and Daddy.

Mommy's Lap

Mommy's lap is getting smaller and smaller, but that doesn't mean that me and Gwyn don't still squeeze on to it!

Pocus!!!

Here I am training my doggy! I am teaching her to focus ("Pocus") so she will pay attention to me! I think I am the next Dog Whisperer!!!

Burgerville!!!!

I love Burgerville!!!! I got a balloon, chicken strips, french fries and a lemonade! I was so excited there that mommy couldn't resist taking a picture of how happy I was!

Sucking up to Mommy

Mommy and I have been really sick for about a week, and I was being REALLY naughty on the day that mommy felt the worst. Daddy sent mommy upstairs, and taught me how to make up when you are bad. We went out and picked some daffodills and tulips, decorated a vase for them, and surrounded them with candles so when mommy came down she would have a special surprise!








Mommy was very happy to see all of this and forgave me! I decided to make it even better and show her each and every flower Daddy and I picked!














Isn't is beautiful?! Our front yard is COVERED in these flowers!!!!

I LOVE Chicken Nuggets!!!!

Yep, you guessed it! I LOVE chicken nuggets! And on our drive back to Oregon, I made sure my parents knew how thankful I was for the chicken nuggets that they had bought me. And you can tell they were yummy because my mouth is covered in ranch dip!!!!

Audrey's Closet

Here is a picture of Audrey's super organized closet! This is "her side" of the closet, while the other side is for our office stuff, but her clothes take up about half of that side too!!!! We are really excited to start using her stuff!

Chill-axin

Here I am Chill-axin' (translation: relaxing) with Daddy and Gwyn while mommy had some sick time to herself. We love hanging out on our deck and in our backyard, and I am always ready to be out there...with or without clothes!











Daddy and I catch up on the important issues during this bonding time!












I have also learned that the chair turns into a fun slide when you put the legs down (video to come)!

Hangin' With The Gooner!

Here I am climbing all over Gooner (Gwyn), which is one of my favorite things to do. She has gotten really lazy, so I am always buggin' her now!











I also like to give her a ton of hugs and kisses, and I always say, "Goon loves Raleigh" or "Raleigh loves Goon!"

Audrey's Shower

Here are some pics from the wonderful shower that Grandma Judy and Aunt Cris threw for Mommy/Audrey. This was the yummy cookie cake that I definitely enjoyed!!!












Aunt Cris also made this beautiful diaper cake!!!

After the shower, Eddie brought over Noah so I could meet him! It took Eddie a little while to make it to the house, but we were SO happy that he did!












Mommy got to steal Baby Noah and even feed him a bottle! Jenna and I helped (those pictures will be posted soon)!

Then mommy started sorting ALL of Baby Audrey's spoils so we could pack them! I think that baby is already super spoiled!













Mommy looks confused! It hasn't been that long since she had to do this for me!

Ready for swimming!!!

Every day I got to go swimming in Grandpa Mark's pool (actually the spa because then I could move on my own), and I was ALWAYS ready! This was before lunchtime one day, and I wore them while I ate lunch too!

Tile with Uncle Bryson

I got to go tile shopping with Uncle Bryson. Here he is entertaining me while we waited for our tile to be loaded up!



















We were watching the forklift. I stole his hat so I would look cool!
















This is me smiling for the camera, but my (I mean Uncle Bryson's) hat fell down! Uncle Bryson kept me very entertained while he was down!

My Home Theatre!

This is the double stroller that my Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Sudduth bought me and Audrey. I like to use it as my own personal theatre seating. Usually I have it facing the TV with my sippy cup and a snack in the holder, but mom had the Roomba running so she was moving me everywhere! Thanks Great Grandpa and Great Grandma! I can't wait to take Audrey for a ride in it!!!

Baby Noah!!!

Mommy and Daddy snuck out one night to go meet Baby Noah (Sam and Eddie's new little bundle). Here is mommy practicing for a new baby again! Isn't he cute?!













Here is daddy holding little Noah! Mommy took Noah right back after the picture though. AND, they showed how inexperienced they are when their arms got stuck during the handoff!
